ContourGlobal operates over 4.7 GW of diversified energy assets across the Americas, spanning renewable, thermal, and hybrid technologies. In Peru, we developed the country’s first large-scale wind farm (114 MW). In Mexico, we operate 518 MW of cogeneration capacity, while our Caribbean portfolio (283 MW) integrates wind, solar, BESS, and thermal plants across Bonaire and Trinidad.
In Colombia, the 240 MW Termoemcali plant provides efficient baseload power. In Chile, we manage an expanding 851 MW renewable hybrid portfolio combining solar and storage assets.
In the United States, we operate and develop 2.8 GW of capacity, including 1.3 GW of thermal power and 1.5 GW of renewables under construction or in late development. Flagship U.S. renewable projects include the Sterling hybrid and Crown solar portfolios. With a technologically diversified regional footprint, ContourGlobal supports energy security and sustainability throughout the Americas.

USA
In USA we operate and develop a diversified portfolio of 2.8 GW in power generation capacity. Our U.S. thermal assets—totaling 1.3 GW—include high-efficiency plants across California, Texas, New Mexico, and Connecticut, providing essential baseload power to the grid. In parallel, we are actively expanding our renewable footprint with 1.5 GW of hybrid capacity, combining solar PV (1.2 GW) and Battery Energy Storage Systems (0.3 GW).
Chile
In December 2024, ContourGlobal entered the Chilean renewables market with the acquisition of a large-scale PV and BESS portfolio, with a combined generation capacity of 451 MW and 2.5 GWh of BESS, corresponding to 400 MW of storage capacity with up to 6.5 hours. Colombia
To support the country’s growing demand for reliable electricity, ContourGlobal operates the 240 MW Termoemcali plant, a highly efficient combined-cycle thermal facility. Strategically located, Termoemcali plays a critical role in delivering stable baseload power to the national grid, enhancing energy security while maintaining low emissions.
Peru
Peru is one of the fastest growing countries in South America and has seen rapidly expanding energy demand in recent years.
To meet this demand, ContourGlobal has built the country’s first large scale wind farm.
Mexico
ContourGlobal acquired two highly efficient combined heat and power (“CHP”) plants power plants in Mexico in 2019. The two CHP plants provide electricity and steam under medium and long-term contracts to high-quality private counterparties.
Caribbean
ContourGlobal operates innovative energy plants in the Caribbean, including the Bonaire Hybrid Hub and the Trinity Power plant in Trinidad and Tobago.
These plants combine renewable energy, such as solar and wind, with battery storage systems and gas turbines, ensuring a continuous and reliable supply of energy for local communities.
