As a business we are deeply committed to making a positive long-term improvement wherever we operate and we engage closely with communities around the world. We achieve this by engaging with our communities to identify opportunities to make high-impact social investments in the areas of education, health and safety, the environment, human rights, and anticorruption.
We seek to become an integral part of the local community by knowing their needs and helping to provide resources to improve people’s daily lives, valuing local cultures and assets.

Social investment projects in Chile
In Chile we have a deep tradition and commitment in honoring and collaborating with local communities.
Near our hybrid plant in Quillagua, an ancient oasis in the Atacama Desert, we’ve installed a photovoltaic plant with battery storage, expanding it to 656 kWp and 2.5 MWh of capacity. This ensures continuous renewable energy for the community, day and night.
Nearby, at Victor Jara plant, we helped build a protective enclosure for the community’s llamas, supporting sustainable agriculture.
Furthermore, at every plant inauguration in Chile, we hold a traditional Pawa ceremony—an ancestral ritual giving thanks to the earth, asking for blessings, and uniting us with the indigenous Aymara traditions.
These efforts demonstrate our commitment to sustainable development and deep cultural partnership with local communities.
We’re proud to walk this path to The Right Power Forward together, creating value that is shared among us and the communties.
