In 2024, ContourGlobal joined SolarPower Europe (SPE), the leading EU-level solar industry association, reinforcing its commitment to clean electrification and sustainable growth. The partnership was highlighted by a visit to SPE’s booth at Intersolar 2024, Europe’s premier solar trade fair.

ContourGlobal has also become part of Battery Storage Europe, a new SPE platform focused on strengthening the business case and regulatory environment for battery storage across the EU. Acting as a dedicated voice for the sector, the platform works with EU policymakers to shape legislation, trade, and investment frameworks, while promoting stronger integration of storage and flexibility into Europe’s energy system.

In 2026, ContourGlobal’s Head of Europe and Africa, Carlo Zorzoli, was appointed to the Board of SolarPower Europe, bringing the IPP’s perspective to the association, along with over 30 years of experience and a pragmatic approach to “Made in Europe” that balances the need for technological independence with affordability.

In June 2024, during WindEurope’s Annual General Assembly in Brussels, ContourGlobal officially became a member of the association, reinforcing its role in Europe’s renewable energy dialogue.

WindEurope is the continent’s leading wind energy association, bringing together the full value chain — from turbine manufacturers and project developers to service providers and technology suppliers. From its base in Brussels, it helps shape policy, drive research, provide market insights, and advocate for faster deployment of wind power across Europe.

Since 2014, ContourGlobal has been a member of IG Windkraft, Austria’s leading wind energy association. Representing about 95% of the country’s installed capacity, IG Windkraft unites turbine manufacturers, operators, and service providers to strengthen the role of wind power in Austria and across Europe.

Beyond advocacy with policymakers and energy suppliers, IG Windkraft offers knowledge-sharing, networking, and public engagement initiatives — reinforcing a broad commitment to advancing renewable energy.

As part of our commitment to supporting the energy transition at both international and national levels, ContourGlobal has recently become a member of Elettricità Futura, the main association representing Italy’s electricity sector. Bringing together over 70% of the national electricity market, Elettricità Futura plays a key role in promoting the development of a more sustainable, secure, and competitive energy system. Our membership allows us to actively contribute to the industrial dialogue in Italy, engage with policymakers, and collaborate with other major players in the sector to advance shared goals in innovation, decarbonisation, and long-term energy resilience.

ContourGlobal has become a member of Protermosolar, Spain’s leading Concentrated Solar Power (CSP) association. Representing over 45 companies across the full CSP value chain and a founding member of ESTELA, Protermosolar drives the development of CSP in Spain and internationally.

Through this partnership, ContourGlobal supports efforts to strengthen regulatory frameworks, foster collaboration with institutions and research centers, and highlight the economic and environmental value of CSP as a key technology in the fight against climate change.

The International Hydropower Association (IHA) is a global organization that supports the sustainable development of hydropower through advocacy, research, and the promotion of best practices.

ContourGlobal joined IHA in 2023. Membership provides access to global networking opportunities, policy engagement, industry research, and sustainability initiatives, helping us contribute to the development of responsible hydropower solutions within the broader renewable energy sector.

APSTE is a non‑profit organisation advocating for a sustainable, lowcarbon‑, and secure energy system through policy advocacy, regulatory coordination, and support for corporate power purchase agreements, energy storage technologies, and green electricity trading.

BGWEA represents the bulk of Bulgaria’s wind-energy sector, uniting wind-energy producers, developers, technical and financial consultants, and law firms. The association works to strengthen legislative and regulatory frameworks, promote wind research, and support public engagement for clean energy.

BPVA brings together over 400 companies across the solar photovoltaic value chain—including panel manufacturers, installers, project developers, investors and consultancies. Its mission is to promote a sustainable and modern energy sector aligned with European standards via engagement with national institutions and international organisations.

The Solar Energy Industries Association (SEIA) is the leading national trade association for the solar and energy storage industry in the United States. The organization plays a central role in advancing clean energy policies, supporting market development, and fostering industry collaboration.

ContourGlobal joined SEIA in 2026. Through this membership, we gain access to educational resources, industry insights, and policy updates that support our understanding of regulatory developments and market trends in the U.S. clean energy sector.

The National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA) brings together key stakeholders across the energy value chain, including developers, brokers, and financial institutions.

The Western Systems Power Pool (WSPP) is a nonprofit organization focused on power markets in California and the broader western United States. It provides a collaborative platform for market participants through conferences, panels, and industry discussions.

The Arizona Solar Energy Industries Association (AriSEIA) is a state-level organization dedicated to advancing solar and energy storage deployment in Arizona. It focuses on local advocacy, regulatory engagement, and the development of a strong regional clean energy market.

ContourGlobal joined AriSEIA in 2026. This engagement will support our growing presence in Arizona by strengthening local relationships and enhancing our ability to contribute to state-level energy discussions.

The American Chamber of Commerce in Armenia is a leading business association that supports companies in expanding their network, advocating business interests, and engaging with government institutions, international organizations, and the wider business community.

ContourGlobal has been a member of AmCham Armenia since 2015. The membership provides access to networking events, high-level meetings, advocacy initiatives, and visibility opportunities, supporting our long-term presence in the country.

The American Chamber of Commerce in Senegal promotes business relations between the United States and Senegal, supporting a more favorable environment for U.S.-linked investments and companies.

In Bulgaria our partnership with the AmCham includes a prominent “Energy and Mineral Resources” committee, under whose umbrella ContourGlobal supported the elaboration and dissemination of the scientific and economic “Research on the opportunities and risks to the Bulgarian energy sector in the process of decarbonization”.
