Our Plants
ContourGlobal owns and operates 71 state-of-the-art photovoltaic plants, with a total direct current (DC) capacity set to reach 113 MWp through our repowering and revamping initiatives.
Fully integrated into the national electricity grid, these plants benefit from a fixed incentive tariff for 20 years, ensuring long-term financial stability. Since operations began between 2007 and 2013, we have continued to invest in the Italian solar market, expanding through acquisitions and reinvestments.
The strength of our track record has attracted strategic investments, including a 49% stake by Energy Infrastructure Partners in our Italian portfolio.
In addition to a strong pipeline of greenfield projects, we are optimizing existing assets to maximize efficiency and extend their operational life. With 6.4 MWp already connected as merchant sections, we are on track to reach 113 MWp by early 2026. Once fully upgraded, our plants will generate 174 GWh per year — over 40% more than their initial capacity.
