Following recent acquisitions, ContourGlobal has solidified its position as a significant Independent Power Producer (IPP) in the United States, with a total of 2.8 GW of power generation capacity across assets in operation, under construction, or in advanced stages of development. Our U.S. thermal portfolio, which accounts for 1.3 GW, includes 10 plants strategically located in California, New Mexico, and Texas, as well as a light fuel oil plant in Connecticut.

These plants provide essential baseload power to the grid, contributing to the stability and reliability of the U.S. energy infrastructure. In addition, we have a hybrid renewable capacity of 1.5 GW, comprising 1.2 GW of solar PV and 0.3 GW of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). Our renewable projects are at various stages of maturity, with initial commercial operations expected to begin in the first half of 2025 and continue through 2031.
