ANTONIO CAMMISECRA –  PRESIDENT AND CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

Mr. Cammisecra is the President and Chief Executive Officer of ContourGlobal since February 2024.

The company manages 6.2 GW of electricity generation assets in 18 countries and across different technologies,with a share of 28% renewables capacity. Under the ladership of Mr. Cammisecra, the company has committed to speed up the decarbonization of its portfolio with a sustainable transition of its thermal fleet, the repowering of existing green power assets and the organic growth by an ambitious development of new renewable projects, commercialized through long term contracts and innovative PPAs. Prior to joining ContourGlobal, Mr. Cammisecra was at Enel Group for more than 20 years and contributed to the expansion of Enel Green Power into a renewables supermajor as well as to accelerating the decarbonization of a power generation fleet with 84 GW managed in 20 countries. He also led the Enel Grids business between 2020-2023 overseeing a portfolio of more than 2.2 million km of power distribution lines, across eight countries. Mr. Cammisecra received a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from University of Naples, Italy and an Executive MBA from Bocconi University, Milan, Italy.

LAURENT HULLO – CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER

Laurent joined ContourGlobal in June 2014 and currently serves as Global Chief Financial Officer. Prior to this role, from 2018 to 2022, he served as Senior Vice President and CFO Thermal division, responsible for all the financial and commercial matters at our thermal power plants. Between 2014 and 2018, Laurent has served as Senior Vice President and Group Controller, responsible among other tasks of the preparation and coordination of ContourGlobal’s financial statements.

Before joining ContourGlobal, Mr. Hullo worked for 10 years at PricewaterhouseCoopers in Paris, in charge of the development of its capital market and accounting advisory services. He graduated from ESSEC business school in France and earned the French diploma of chartered accountant.

AMANDA SCHREIBER – GENERAL COUNSEL

Amanda joined ContourGlobal in April 2012 and serves as the Company’s General Counsel leading the global legal organization. She is responsible for all Company legal matters, including transactional, M&A, development, capital markets, corporate finance, governance, litigation, and regulatory matters, including international trade, sanctions, and competition laws. Before joining ContourGlobal, Ms. Schreiber served as Chief Compliance Counsel at Colgate-Palmolive Company and practiced at the law firms of Covington & Burling LLP and Sullivan & Cromwell LLP in New York. She began her career as a law clerk to the Honorable Barrington D. Parker of the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit. Ms. Schreiber received her A.B. from Brown University and her J.D. from Columbia Law School, where she was a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar.

CARLO ZORZOLI – HEAD OF EUROPE & AFRICA

Carlo brings 28 years of experience in the electricity sector mainly, but not exclusively, in power generation in roles ranging from Business Development, to Operation and Maintenance and General Management. For the last six years, he led the global business development for Enel Green Power where he managed a team overseeing growth in renewables, energy storage, green hydrogen as well as repurposing thermal sites phase out. Prior to this he held the position of CEO in Enel Brasil, managing a business with four power distribution companies, 3 GW of renewables in operations and 1.3 GW of renewables under construction, as well as a CCGT plant.

FERNANDO GONZALEZ – HEAD OF AMERICAS

Fernando has over 25 years in the energy sector, with extensive experience and deep knowledge of the Americas region. He was previously CEO of Grupo Cerro, a renewable energy platform based in Chile, and held senior positions as regional CFO in The Dorado Group, AES Corporation and also ContourGlobal, where he had a first stint from 2008 to 2011 before returning to the company in 2023.

In his current role, Fernando is overseeing 2.5 GW of assets across seven countries in the Americas region. His focus is on improving operations and achieving efficiencies to foster significant organic growth, but also strategic acquisitions, prioritizing low-carbon thermal and renewable projects. He is a Certified Public Accountant, graduated from Universidad de Buenos Aires, Argentina

WALTER PORCEL – CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER

Walter joined ContourGlobal in May 2024 and currently serves as Global Chief Operating Officer. Walter has 30 years of experience in the power sector previously working for ENGIE Group, developing an international career in Latin America, Asia Pacific and North America. He held several positions in Operations, Maintenance, Engineering & Construction and HSE&Q as part of his responsibilities across conventional power generation, renewables, power transmission and gas transportation. His focus at ContourGlobal is on Operations and Maintenance of existing assets, on Engineering and Construction to support the strategic growth of renewable generation; and on Health, Safety and Environment as a core pillar of the company. Walter holds a B.S in Engineering Sciences from University of Tarapacá, Chile with studies of Civil Electronic Engineer at the University of Tarapacá. 

JAVIER VAQUERIZO – CHIEF COMMERCIAL OFFICER

Javier adds more than 20 years of expertise in renewables, energy management and trading activities, in the context of international leadership positions across global and regional scopes. He led Global PPA and Renewable Energy Solutions activity at Enel since 2016, ensuring the optimal offtake solutions to de-risk Enel’s growth in renewables. He oversaw origination, structuring, pricing, and negotiation of Power Purchase Agreements with corporates, utilities, and non-traditional off-takers. During his tenure, almost 6 GW of PPAs were secured for new Wind and Solar capacity in USA, Latam, EMEA and APAC.

GEORGE PERGAMALIS – GLOBAL HEAD OF BD

George joins with a multi-disciplinary background and  international experience in renewable energy. Educated as a lawyer, he started his career in London where he then transitioned to banking and eventually to renewable energy during the early days of Enel Green Power. He has led large renewable growth teams in Europe, South Arica and, latest, North & Central America. He also served as CEO of Tradewind Energy, one of the US' largest and most successful renewable developers. Pergamalis is known for delivering growth at large scale while operating in complex, cross-border environments.

FREDERIK HASPEL – GLOBAL HEAD OF M&A

Frederik has 12 years of experience in the energy industry, specializing in the acquisition and development of energy projects across different technologies in Europe and America. He joined ContourGlobal in 2015 and led the M&A and Business Development team for Europe prior to being appointed Global Head of M&A dealing with the expansion of our portfolio in existing markets and the development of new markets. In his spare time, Frederik is passionate about tennis and enjoys cycling and skiing.

NADIA DOSIO – GLOBAL HEAD OF ASSURANCE AND INTERNAL AUDIT

Nadia  joined ContourGlobal in 2018 serving as Global Head of Assurance and Internal Audit. In her current role, she reports to the group CEO and Board of Directors leading efforts to safeguard the company’s reputation and value through the development of a risk-based audit strategy and plan.

With over 30 years of experience in audit, compliance, corporate governance, and investigations across diverse industries including logistics, technology, and manufacturing, Nadia brings extensive knowledge and commitment to excellence. Before ContourGlobal, she held senior leadership positions at Maersk, Oracle Inc., FCA, and Sun Chemical Inc. Her career began with a strong foundation in external auditing at KPMG Italy. Nadia holds an Executive MBA from the London Business School and a Degree of Economics from the University of Bologna, Italy. She is also a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), and Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional (CCEP).

JOÃO DUARTE – GLOBAL HEAD OF COMMUNICATIONS

João has over two decades of experience in corporate communications, branding, and digital strategy across public and private sectors. He joined ContourGlobal in June 2024 to steer the internal and external communications efforts to support the strategic transformation of the company. For the past 16 years he contributed to Enel’s multinational growth and expansion overseeing global and regional communications functions and leading the global rebranding of the Group. He also spearheaded communications for the power distribution business line, where he led the creation of communication and brand strategy for a spin-off company. He graduated in Public Relations and Communication Management in Portugal and holds post-graduation degrees from Portuguese and Spanish universities. He is a fellow of executive programs at Harvard University Kennedy School, SDA Bocconi and IESE Business School.

QUINTO DI FERDINANDO – COO CONSTRUCTION AND PROJECT MANAGEMENT

Quinto joined ContourGlobal in 2011, initially serving as the Maritsa East 3 Plant Manager & Executive Director of ContourGlobal Operations in Bulgaria and then became Global O&M Coordinator in 2013 and the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of the Thermal Division in 2014, before taking on his current role in 2023.

His career has led him to oversee complex engineering projects and significant infrastructure improvements and operational enhancements in the power sector.

He worked with the global utility Enel for approximately 14 years. During his tenure at Enel, he held various managerial positions, including Plant Manager & Executive Director of Enel Operations in Bulgaria and Project Manager for a significant refurbishment project at the Maritsa East 3 TPP.  He holds a Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from La Sapienza University in Rome, Italy.

ARA HOVSEPYAN – HEAD OF AFRICA AND ARMENIA

Ara joined ContourGlobal in 2013, first as a lead negotiator for the acquisition of the Vorotan hydro cascade and then, later on, staying over as the General Manager for Armenia. He then moved on to become the Head of Africa and Armenia in 2021. In his current regional role, he oversees 633 MW of installed capacity across four African countries (Senegal, Togo, Rwanda and Nigeria), as well as ensures ContourGlobal's presence in Asia through the major asset in Armenia.

Ara’s professional experience of almost 30 years is particularly relevant in energy infrastructure rehabilitation and management where he has been exposed to contractual and financial oversight for multimillion-dollar projects in various areas of international development. He excels in government and development agency relations, negotiations, and compliance during program implementation.

His background education is in political science and international diplomacy. He is a graduate of Oxford University (Exeter college) and a fellow of executive programs at the Harvard University Kennedy School.

BERNARD HAIDER – HEAD OF AUSTRIA & SLOVAKIA

Bernhard has been with ContourGlobal since February 2018. Prior to his appointment as a Country Manager for Austria and Slovakia he held various international roles. He was leading global Project Finance, acted as CEO for CG Kosovo and stepped in as interim CFO for Global Renewables and gained deep knowledge about the renewable sector as CFO for the European Renewables Division.

He started his career in the audit department at PwC Austria and was leading their energy practices for years. Before joining ContourGlobal he moved as a PwC Middle East Partner to Jerusalem and Cairo and was leading the Energy Practice for Levante and North Africa for 8 years.

In his current role he is focusing on the development of greenfield wind projects in Austria, repowering existing windparks and increasing the efficiency of the wind and solar portfolio in Austria and Slovakia. He gained his economic background studying Business Administration at the University of Vienna. 

PAOLA AGRATI – HEAD OF ITALY

Paola joined ContourGlobal in March 2016 and currently serves as the CEO for the Italian business, where she spearheads the operation of our existing renewable energy assets and drives the expansion of our business in the renewable sector, emphasizing the crucial energy transition. Previously, Paola held other key leadership roles within the company, serving as Group Deputy General Counsel and Renewable General Counsel, where she played a significant role in shaping our renewable energy strategy.

Before joining ContourGlobal, Paola was part of the energy and project finance team at Latham & Watkins in New York from 2008 to 2016, and prior to that, she worked at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer in Italy and New York. Paola is admitted to the bar in New York and Italy. She graduated from the University of Padua and holds a master’s degree from Columbia University.

VASSIL SHTONOV – HEAD OF BULGARIA

Vassil joined ContourGobal in 2023 to lead the company’s operations in Bulgaria and drive its efforts to support the energy transition in the country. With a strong background in management consulting, Vassil brings extensive experience, analytical skills and leadership from previous prominent positions at McKinsey & Company, where he worked with energy and financial sector clients, as well as from KPMG and Bear Sterns. His career blends investment banking, venture financing and consulting for financial institutions with public-sector roles, including policy-making at the Bulgarian Ministry of Energy and Economy and serving on the Supervisory Board of the Bulgarian Development Bank.

He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania and holds an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management.
