Windpark HAGN GmbH

Wind farm HAGN is one of the largest wind farms in the Austrian province of Lower Austria, located 40 km north of Vienna. It comprises 20 ENERCON E-82 turbines, each with a capacity of 2.3 MW, providing a total installed capacity of 47 MW and an annual production of approximately 84 GWh. The wind farm is connected to the medium-high voltage grid operated by Netz Niederösterreich. Construction was completed in 2013, with commercial operations commencing at the end of that year. A formal inauguration ceremony was held on 5 May 2014 in the district of Althöflein, in cooperation with the four involved municipalities: Hauskirchen, Altlichtenwarth, Großkrut and Neusiedl/Zaya. A fixed feed-in tariff applies for a period of 13 years. ContourGlobal Ventus Power Holding GmbH holds a 95% stake, while a regional partner holds the remaining 5%.
